Dr. Stuart Poe is a lifelong resident of Dunedin, having moved here as a child in 1968 when the sleepy rural town was little more then farms and orange groves. After graduating from Dunedin High School in the top 5% of the nation, Dr. Poe attended the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry with a overall GPA of 3.98. Dr. Poe then pursued his lifelong dream of becoming a dentist and enrolled in the University of Florida's College of Dentistry. After graduating in 1987, Dr. Poe returned to his hometown to begin his dental career.

Dr. Hugh Harmon opened his Dunedin dental practice in 1968 and built it into a thriving and successful business. Dr. Poe was actually a patient of Dr. Harmon's throughout his childhood! Dr. Poe took over the practice in 1990 when Dr. Harmon decided to reduce his working hours. Although semi-retired, Dr. Harmon continues to see his regular patients.
